Hades secure Birmingham New Street and Signalling Centre Contract

Hades Secures Planned & Preventative Maintenance Contract

We are delighted to announce that Hades Infrastructure has been awarded a Planned and Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contract with Sisk Rail. The initial six-month contract, with the potential for a 12-month extension, encompasses the maintenance of Birmingham New Street Station and the Birmingham Signalling Centre.

Our dedicated team of engineers will ensure the facilities remain fully compliant with all industry standards, focusing on essential systems such as emergency lighting, drainage, and electrical and mechanical plant maintenance to SFG 20 regulations.

We are currently expanding our team and are actively seeking plumbers and electricians to join us for night shifts. Positions are available on both a contract and fixed-term basis.

Innovative Refurbishment Solution at Newlands Signalling Box

Hades Infrastructure continues to demonstrate its expertise in delivering bespoke refurbishment and building solutions to Network Rail assets, including signal boxes, stations, and depots.

At Newlands Signalling Box in Worcestershire, we developed an innovative solution to address severe flooding issues on the lower ground floor. Our team installed a pump system with an automatic alarm to monitor and manage rising water levels. Additionally, a drainage pit with a sophisticated soakaway system was constructed to prevent water from spilling onto the adjacent roadway.

These projects underscore Hades Infrastructure’s commitment to delivering top-quality maintenance and innovative solutions that ensure the safety, functionality, and compliance of critical rail infrastructure.
